Our staff is (almost all) homegrown.

Most of our staff are homegrown, having been campers themselves beginning in 1984. Our staff is made up of volunteers, who take time each year from their jobs and lives to come to camp for a week. Our staff comes from all over, from Florida, Georgia, Texas, California, Missouri, Ohio, Illinois, and Indiana to be a part of this magical week.

We have professionals from a variety of industries and jobs: School Teachers, School Administrators, Ecologists, Child Psychologist, Sales Representatives, Veterinary Technicians, Graphic Designers, Daycare Providers, Lawyers, Photographers, Musicians, Government Analysts, Financial Advisors, Restaurant Servers, Clinical Exercise Specialist, Dental Assistants, Registered Nurses, Forensic Scientists, Nurses, Mechanics, a Retired Police Chief, and many more. We even have Mother's and Father's and Grandma's, and Grandpa's!

We are learning.

We have students from many in-state and out-of-state colleges: Central Michigan University, Florida Gulf Coast University, St. Louis University, Michigan State University, University of Michigan, Grand Valley State University, Wayne State University, Western Michigan, Oakland University, Saginaw Valley State, University, Walsh College, Bowling Green and Tampa Bay Universities, and Macomb and St. Clair Community colleges. We even have a program for Armada High School students!

We want to make sure that camp is not only a fun time for our campers but a fulfilling learning experience. From team sports and horseback riding to art and crafts and "The Finer Things" club - our talented staff leads a variety of different fun for everyone.
